Ralph Bunche Summer Institute Workshop (VIRTUAL)

July 18, 2022 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM ET

The Center for Peace and Conflict Studies Wayne State University Ralph Bunche Institute (RBSI) is consistently dedicated in educating on the campus of Wayne State University in curricula of conflict resolution, youth non-violence, anti-bullying diversity/multiculturalism, public history, social justice, community policing/law enforcement, civic engagement, youth leadership development, international relations and more.

Join us virtually on July 18, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. EST to learn about conflict resolution, youth non-violence, anti-bullying, restorative justice, diversity, multiculturalism, social justice, and more.

Amplify your youth voices in generating solutions to existing and historical social problems such as community and gun violence, building and repairing social relations, fostering mutual understanding between incompatible individuals and/or groups, and strengthening personal responsibility to respect the feelings, needs, and values of others.

Topics of mental health and trauma related to community and gun violence will also be discussed. As a community, we are all interconnected on multidimensional levels; accountability for those involved in disputes and abuses explicitly addresses healing from harm and trauma.

All high school youth and college freshmen must apply and register to attend the virtual workshop.
Registration Due July 11, 2022
